Advocate Gürol Herkesecan

Born in 1986 in Ankara, Attorney Gürol Herkesecan completed his primary education in Ankara, secondary education in Muğla and university education in Istanbul. Having been awarded a full scholarship to the Department of Maritime and Port Management at Istanbul Bahçeşehir University, Mr. Gürol Herkesecan also graduated from the Faculty of Law of the same university with the success scholarship granted to him by the Rectorate during his studies. With the international scholarship he won during his university years, he continued his education in Florence, Italy for a period of time.

During his student years, he was closely interested in technology and with the software team he established within the university, he received various awards and degrees in institutions and organizations such as TÜBİTAK, TÜSİAD, Bahçeşehir University, Boğaziçi University. His technology-based project, of which he was the idea leader, was initiated by Mr. Serpil Timuray, the CEO of Vodafone at the time. Developed with the contributions of Serpil Timuray and awarded by TÜSİAD. Awarded by Mr. Ümit Nazlı Boyner, President of TÜSİAD. The project awarded by Ümit Nazlı Boyner is still on display at Vodafone Headquarters.

Following his graduation from the Faculty of Law, he completed his master's degree at Istanbul Medipol University, Department of Public Law with his thesis on "Sexual Abuse of Children". The relevant thesis was published as a book by On İki Levha Publications and presented to the public.

Attorney Gürol Herkesecan continues to act as an attorney and/or defense attorney in cases arising from private law disputes with the types of crimes mainly subject to serious criminal proceedings, especially the crime of sexual abuse of children, and continues his academic research in the field of Criminal Law.

Attorney Gürol Herkesecan, who is devoted to Beşiktaş Club, is a member of Beşiktaş Club Congress.
